Halo Hartume is located on the central-western side of Gedeb, right in the heart of some of the highest growing elevations for coffees. While Halo Hartume may not be quite as famous as the the adjacent Worka Chelbessa kebele- the potential for high quality coffee may be just high here, or even higher.
This potential for exceptional quality is why Negusse Debela wanted his company SNAP to invest in this community - and ended up purchasing a washing station here in 2022.
These sites run by Negusse and his team, execute immaculate washed and natural processed coffees, but also have been experimenting with many different processes the last few years.
